This seven day, six night retreat is designed for people who wish to deepen their yoga practice and relax, rejuvenate, and renew for a weekend, BUT also let loose and have some fun. Yes, yoga, meditation, surfing, jungle exploring, turtle conservation, monkey-gazing, sloth searching, beach sunsets, stargazing, and mingling all in one trip!?
Did I mention there’s a pool overlooking the jungle?!
Dive deep into your yoga practice with ten 75-90 minute practices one magickal ritual and one special workshop! Yoga classes will be set to playlists including alternative, punk, emo and metal but with some quieter moments to take in the sound of the jungle. Cultivate new friendships with like-minded nature-loving, yoga and fitness loving misfits and weirdos.

Nestled in the bosque (forest) and just a little more secluded than the rest of the bungalows. This cabin is great for people who want a little bit of distance from the action or nature lovers who want to learn up close and personal about the local fauna. Though there is no view of the ocean from inside there is a beautiful balcony to relax on with valley views and a glimpse of the beach

Pelicano has a great balcony and stunning beach and ocean views. The balcony has a sofa and a hammock and is very private. The bathroom has a solar hot water shower with beach views. It is located at the top of the hill within a short distance of all our amenities and enjoys a quiet surrounding atmosphere.

You wake up in a super comfy bed to the sound of howler monkeys in the distance. You get ready and walk outside your door to see a lush green tropical landscape. You grab a warm cup of nicarguan coffee and an organic, all-natural breakfast as you sit a table with new friendly faces with similar interests as you.
You get lead through a challenging but fun and creative flow to the sound of an alt band like The Cure, Type O, or Fall Out Boy. The energy in the room allows for expansiveness and you feel invigorated and refreshed.
After yoga, you shower and then hang out with a cup coffee or tea and you take in the breath taking view or maybe take walk around the jungle. Maybe you even spot a family of howler monkeys or a sloth holding its baby! You return for a communal lunch where you get to know the fellow retreaters and cultivate deeper friendships. In the afternoon, maybe you take a dip in the pool, a swim in ocean or maybe you book some bodywork or take a cat nap. Maybe you even try out a surf lesson!
In the evening, you take meditative, gentle yoga class that allows the body to open and the mind to relax. After class, you once again sit at a large table with all of your new like-minded friends and chat about the adventures of the day and share stories of the past and your plans for the future. Then you hang by the pool with a few new friends for a chill night in or maybe you take a taxi into town to get rowdy. Maybe you call it an early night and get a peaceful night’s sleep with the sound of nature.

Costa Dulce is located within a tropical Jungle and blessed with beauty on all sides, you will find a network of walking trails to explore, enjoy and immerse yourself in nature. Find the secret lookout where you will be surrounded by the serenity of the environment, collect shells in “mermaid cove” or take a dip in the tidal pool. Our playground is full of places to discover!
Costa Dulce consists of several inviting shared spaces. All accommodations are built around our central dining area, where something tasty is always being whipped up in the Dulce Cocina. There’s lounge/ bar with library and beach view terrasse, as well as our awesome new pool and the spa area.
Just steps away is a beautiful public, but very secluded beach. You will find our surf school is stationed here along with a little locally owned restaurant serving up fantastic margaritas and authentic Nica food. The beach is equipped with hammocks, sun chairs and lots of shade. Down the south end of the beach, the river Escameca Grande flows into the ocean. This is a great place to go paddleboarding (SUP), spot local wildlife, or enjoy a freshwater swim.
Enjoy healthy fresh vegan and Gluten-free meal options at Costa Dulce Retreat. My husband and I find the farm-to-table kitchen to be a highlight of our trip. La Dulce Cocina takes pride in serving you healthy and delicious local food. Selecting locally grown fresh ingredients so our menu changes with the seasons. Note: Can happily cater to most dietary needs including vegan, vegetarian, carnivores, celiacs and food allergies.
The retreat center has a onsite concierge services. The staff handles all the logistics from setting up your surf lessons or board rental and any excursions like horseback riding, hikes and SUP. They can also book spa services like massages, facials, scrubs, reflexology and other spa services.

RETREAT HOST: Crystal
Crystal Rose is latina punk who has been practicing yoga and meditation for over 15 years. Like most, she came to yoga for the physical benefits, but continued for the emotional and mental benefits. Yoga allowed her to breath deeper, reduce anxiety and increase her focus, both on the mat and in life. She has a passion for Ayurvedic Self Care and all things Lunar.
She's all about making yoga accessible to BIPOC and Alternative Folks who may be scared away from trying it because they don’t fit the stereotypical mold for a yoga practitioner. Her classes are intentional and powerful and always open to all-levels.
CO-Host: Kaila
Kaila is a adventure loving yoga teacher who
has been practicing since she was a teenager and teaching for the better part of the last decade. She believes in the magic of movement and breath and the invisible connection between all things. A lover of astrology, tarot, and all things woo-woo, she’s always up for discussing the occult or participating in a ritual.
Kaila’s classes can range from energetic and challenging to slow and introspective. Each class comes from a choose-your-own-adventure approach, wherein Kaila acts as the guide, giving cues and variations, but ultimately the authority on how to move through the postures lies with each student, after all, they are the ones who know best how things feel for them. Her goal is for each student to leave her classes feeling a little more empowered in themselves.

Candace is an adventure seeker who loves hiking and all types of movement. She believes that movement has the power to change our lives, and uses her passion for the outdoors to help others find their own inner strength. With years of experience and a deep love for the outdoors, she is passionate about helping others discover the benefits of movement and physical activity. Candace's aim is to assist individuals in uncovering their true potential and expressing it in ways that impact our everyday routines
Her goal is to help others experience how movement and nature are the keys to a happy, healthy life.

YOGA
All Yoga classes will be all levels. There will be ten 75-90 minute practices that include Pranayama, Meditation, Yin/Yang, Power Vinyasa Yoga, Flow & Restore, Yin Yoga, and a Workshop or ritual!
Most morning classes will be energizing. These invigorating classes will include pose breakdowns of intermediate poses like Crow Pose, Bird of Paradise and Splits. Most evening classes will be meditative, relaxing and cooling.
Power Classes will be challenging yet accessible with options offered to meet the need of various levels of experience. Vinyasa classes are moderately paced and multi-level that link movement to breath. Yin Yoga is a grounding floor-based practice that allow the body to open and lengthen deeply with long holds. Yin Yang is a mix of Yin and Vinyasa flow to balance the lunar and solar energy within the body.
FOOD
All of the meals are included and will be mostly vegetarian. The center is able to cater to vegan, gluten free and other allergies. Please fill survey to note allergies!
