INSTRUCTIONS TO EXTENDED HAND TO BIG TOE TO THE BOWING VARIATION

Instructions:

  1. Tadasana (Mountain Pose.) Exhale as you root firmly into your left leg.. Swing your right hip out without completely turning your pelvis, and casually rest your left hand on your hip.

  2. On your next inhale, casually lift your right knee out to the side, showing off your flexibility, and snag your big toe with the first two fingers of your right hand (or outer edge of foot.) Keep it strong af by keeping that leg straight.

  3. As you extend your right leg to the side, go as far as you can without compromising your posture. Your pelvis stays level, and your right hip enjoys a little external rotation. Keep your torso upright.

  4. Slay the pose! Inhale and stretch your right leg to the side while maintaining your fabulous posture. Don't forget to keep the leg leg straight and outer left hip closer to your center stage. Keep your core engaged, and let your upper right arm shine with a little external rotation.

  5. Hold the pose for 5-8 breaths, maintaining your regal composure. It’s about to get spooky!

  6. Now slow and controlled begin to to lower your chest half way down, keep your core engaged- and BANG just like that you’re in Bat Pose or the Bowing variation of Extended Hand to Big Toe!
